LABC Building Awards South East Region

Congratulations to everyone that took part in the brilliant awards night held at the Copthorne Hotel and Resort on the 11^th June. Guests were entertained by the Singing Firemen, courtesy of Bella Soprano. The awards ceremony was presented by the distinguished Graham Lee and the glamorous BBC London weathergirl Wendy Hyrrell. The hotel presented a sumptuous meal. Everyone felt like a winner, enjoying the rewards of their involvement with LABC, and in the knowledge that they produced the best construction and development in the South East. Thanks go to the event sponsors, LABC New Home Warranty, Kingspan Insulation, and Triangle Fire Systems for their help.

LABC South East Region

The LABC South East Building Excellence Awards recognise and reward the best quality design construction and project management in the South East. The quality stems from good design and an efficient design team, and is translated into quality buildings by an effective construction team. Throughout this process Local Authority Building Control monitors the quality of design and construction. The finalists can be proud to be amongst the best projects in the region.

Local Authority Building Control cares about the quality of construction. LABC teams are involved with all types of schemes from small domestic extensions through to multi-million pound commercial buildings. They are there to guide and assist in compliance with the Building Regulations. They are also there to recognise and promote the achievements of the construction industry through the regional Building Excellence Awards.

The Building Excellence Awards are unique in that they represent all types of work from the small domestic to the large commercial. They celebrate the work of architects, designers, engineers, contractors and craftsmen. They recognise sustainable projects that go just that little bit further than the rest. They recognise the best in partnership working. They are there for everyone that gets involved.

To take part is simple. All you need to do is nominate your prized scheme through the nomination pages.
